RAGE TV Spot Gets Us Pumped For The Game

September 15, 2011, By Christian Davis

Most, if not all, gamers should be excited to get their hands on Bethesda’s RAGE. A world that was once filled with life is now nothing but a large dust bowl filled with a bandits that will kill you if you even think about looking at them. id Software (the creators of DOOM and Quake) has done a phenomenal job with the title and it definitely shows in this trailer. The production value of this game really make it feel more like a film instead of a videogame.

The story behind rage is something based off a possible reality for the planet we live on. The world of RAGE has been destroyed by a large asteroid called Apophis. If that sounds familiar, it’s because it’s real. The asteroid could really collide with our planet and in the world of RAGE, it actually did.

In response to the threat, the people of RAGE created The Eden Project which would bury people in an arc and keep them safe from the asteroid collision. Your character wakes up 100 years after Apophis has hit and you’re the only one to survive in your arc. From that point on, it’s all about survival.

Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think. If you’re not interested in RAGE (that’s strange) then you’ll have some pretty sweet tunes to listen to, courtesy of A Perfect Circle.
