The tablet also offers software support by providing a tablet+ development platform. It allows freedom to “use” and “develop” on the same platform.

It comes with many tools, applications and recovery options that will enhance the Developer Preview with images.

All these courtesy of the Windows 8 platform it holds inside. The new OS promises very quick boot up, and the start screen on the tablet appears with the Windows 8 Metro style UI with lot of apps as big and small tiles.

It allows customizing the start screen by grouping the apps – such as weather app, stock app, news app, Tweet@rama, Socialite and so on.

It also displays the date, time, wireless connectivity and battery life on the screen along with features such as Search, Share, Start, Devices and Settings.

To personalize the tablet, a Metro style Control Panel app has been provided. Other smart features include Picture Password for lock screen, USB plugging, Internet Explorer 10 and much more. Though the developer tablet won’t go on sale, let’s now look forward to see the new revelation of the OS turning a huge success.
