LG Optimus Note QWERTY Slider Leaked

September 8, 2011, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

Guys, there seems to be more than one Note coming all the way from South Korea. First it was the Samsung Galaxy Note announced at IFA Berlin, and now we hear about LG’s Optimus Note. The device seems to have been spotted in South Korea plus a press note has leaked as well. The Optimus Note, a 12.3 mm thick four row QWERTY slider, is said to sport a 4-inch WVGA NOVA display and pack a 1.2 GHz dual core Tegra 2 processor.

The device could also sport a 5 megapixel rear camera with LED flash plus a front-facing VGA camera up front. There is an 8 GB internal storage on board and WiFi Direct capability. It is expected to run Google’s Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS.

The device is said to be available on U Plus for LG’s home territory. We are not sure if and when the Optimus Note will be ready for an international release.

Could there be a name change on the way as well? We did tell you about an Optimus Slider supposedly making its way to Sprint; it could as well be the Optimus Note. We will have to confirm that before we start discussing that one.

While we go looking for more info on the device, let us know what you think of the pictures we found here.
