HTC Rhyme, Motorola Xoom LTE Spotted in Leaked Verizon MAP List

September 2, 2011, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

It seems like there’s a double surprise for Verizon subscribers. Two long awaited devices  -Motorola Xoom LTE and HTC Rhyme are heading for a launch on the carrier soon. Details we stumbled upon a while ago reveal that the arrival is imminent.

Verizon’s minimum advertised price (MAP) list has leaked and this has pushed to the public domain info we are talking about. The two devices have been listed along with the price and the launch date.

If the revelations are correct, you could see the Xoom LTE tablet coming to you on Verizon around September 8. The device will sell for a price of $499.99 on a two-year contract.

Motorola has said that the first free upgrades of the Android powered tablet will be limited to businesspersons and government customers. Users now owning the Xoom tablet (minus the LTE feature) will feel bitter, as the new ones come with LTE support and for a lower price.

Meanwhile, the HTC Rhyme was also spotted in the leaked document with a price tag of $199.99 and will arrive on September 29. The handset was previously seen with the model number ADR6330VW.

As the name suggests, the device could feature Beats Audio Technology. The price tag and the positioning between HTC’s Merge (ADR 6325) and Droid Incredible 2 (ADR6350) hint that the phone will be a mid range category device.

If you remember, earlier in August 10, HTC had filed trademarks for Rhyme and Enamor, so the chance of the arrival of Rhyme seems certain. We will feed you the latest updates as the companies open up.
