Samsung GT-I9250 Nexus Prime Support Page Surfaces Online

August 31, 2011, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

The Nexus Prime fires are blazing with rumors. The new log in the fire is a support page that was spied online, pertaining to the Samsung GT-I9250.

A few days back, a Samsung smartphone headed for Verizon Wireless was talked about, and the phone had the model number GT-I9250. The number resembles the model allotted for Google Nexus S for T-Mobile.

The online support page doesn’t give out many details and we can only assume that the release date must be inching closer now that the online page has arrived. The smartphone had recently earned a WiFi certification too.

Confirmed specs are yet to make their way out, but we do have some speculations on what the Prime will be looking like and what it might be packing. The estimated specifications list includes either a 4.5-inch or 4.65-inch HD screen with a resolution of 1280×720.

The power factor is accounted for by a dual-core 1.5GHz processor placed under the hood. The Prime will allegedly run the new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Quite a haul is expected on that smartphone. A few days back there were talks about the Samsung SCH-i515, which is headed towards Verizon, might be in fact the rumored Nexus Prime.

We saw the smartphone drive through the Bluetooth SIG for certification. It’s possible that the phone might be Verizon’s variant known as the Droid Prime.

Lots of mysteries out there, and only time can help solve them.
