HTC Sense 3.5 UI Gets a Video Demo

August 30, 2011, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

The actual HTC Sense 3.5 UI may not be available until tomorrow. But that doesn’t mean you will have to wait to get a feel of it. A video walk through of the improved version of the user interface has been revealed for all of us to see.

Chinese-language site XDA.cn got their hands on the unreleased version and they have posted it in the form of a video. The five-and-half minute video gives us a demo of the UI and its new and improved features.

The Sense 3.5 may not look significantly different from its predecessor, but it looks like HTC has put it great effort to groom the Sense to make it better.

There are some great enhancements to the UI including new animations, a new side mounted clock and an improved unlock mechanism. The standard three-button Sense launcher has been replaced with a separate app drawer and phone keys.

Widgets have been updated as well. The new Sense also has the ability to add and remove homescreens.

The cleaner and more complete HTC Sense 3.5 is set to appear on HTC Vigor, and the ladies-phone HTC Bliss on Big Red. HTC Kingdom is likely to be added to the list as well. But the exact date of roll out has not been revealed.

Let us know if the video has made you more eager about the UI’s arrival. In the meanwhile, here’s the video for you.
