First Kanye Now The Dropkick Murphys Will Be Playing At Call OF Duty XP

If you were already hyped for Kanye West’s performance at Call of Duty XP, the first night of the event will have Irish punk band the Dropkick Murphys to start things off right.

Activision announced it this morning via press release, where CEO Eric Hirshberg noted, “The addition of the Dropkick Murphys just makes XP that much more memorable.”

It’s definitely going to be a memorable experience for what you get with that $150 price tag. “With an unbeatable lineup of real-world and in-game experiences, Call of Duty XP was already poised to be an historic event for fans of the franchise,” said Eric.

Will there be any more bands coming? We’ll have to see but other music talents have lent a hand to Call of Duty in the past. Avenged Sevenfold has created a song for Call of Duty Black Ops and Eminem has even had “Won’t Back Down” featured as well. They are both possibilities if there were to be any more musical talent coming in this 2 day event.

If there aren’t any more live performances that’s alright with me. Kanye and the Dropkick Murphys will take care of us just fine.
