Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Playable At PAX Prime

August 22, 2011, By Christian Davis

I have a distinct feeling that if you haven’t bought a ticket for PAX Prime yet, you just did after reading the title. Bethesda just announced that their booth at PAX will have RAGE playable and the highly anticipated Skyrim title playable for the first time. If I were you, I’d get to the Bethesda booth early because there will probably be a huge line.

Playing Skyrim is definitely going to be the highlight for many gamers at PAX Prime located in Seattle, but Bethesda has more to offer too. As previously stated, players will be able to dive into the deadly wastelands of RAGE. We got our hands on the title for a bit at E3 and it’s a lot of fun and definitely something you want to check out.

If you still need more motivation to check out Bethesda’s booth at 3:30 pm on Saturday, Todd Howard will be giving a special presentation of Skyrim in the Unicorn Theater. Seating will be limited but attendees will receive a ticket that is redeemable for a Skyrim plush helmet (shown below) at the Bethesda booth.

Bethesda even wants to feed their fans too! There will be a Skyrim themed food truck at PAX on Saturday from 11:30 pm to 3 pm. They’ll be serving: Dragon legs, Whiterun Corn, and Solitude Sweetrolls. All fine delicacies in a world where dragons cause mayhem.

Who’s going to be attending PAX Prime this Friday? Let us know!
