Batman: Arkham City Will Support 3D

Hope you’re use to seeing the words “stereoscopic” and “anaglyphic” by now because it sure isn’t going away anytime soon. A large slice of the game development pie is supporting 3D and today, Warner Bros. informed us all that Batman: Arkham City, will too support stereoscopic and anaglyphic 3D.

This is one of the games that I think will look incredibly cool in 3D. Seeing the gargantuan Solomon Grundy narrowly miss you with a swing of his fist, dodging Mr. Freeze’s ice beams, getting frustrated that Catwoman got caught again, and a whole lot more all in 3D glory. Sounds like a good time.

Arkham City, also supports NVIDIA’s 3D Vision technology, so PC gamers can also have 3D enjoyment as well.

With all that said, you need to be sure you have the most essential equipment to enjoy 3D gaming: a 3D TV or Monitor. If you don’t have either of those, then you can’t enjoy it.

Which of our readers have 3D TVs? What do you think about 3D gaming? Is it fun? Cumbersome? Does it give you a headache? Let us know in the comments below.
