HTC Holiday Images Surface with Specs

We have here what could possibly be HTC’s upcoming product- the HTC Holiday. The device was spotted with a big ‘CALIFORNIA’ sticker on its bottom that could either point to the device being planned regional or just someone’s idea of a silly joke.

Back in May, we heard some of the leaked specifications the Android device would supposedly carry, and now from the looks of the pictures, some of those speculations are bound to come true. The screenshots display a thin device with a 4.5-inch qHD display at 960 x 540-pixel resolution.

The handset is rumored to hold a similar dual-core 1.2GHz MSM8660 processor that is currently doing the rounds in the HTC Sensation. A 1GB of RAM is also expected to accompany the bundle, along with an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 1.3 megapixel camera on the front.

The Holiday would be running the Android 2.3.4, which is likely to be coupled with the HTC Sense. We can also see from the images that the device sports a conductive set of hardware bits on its back, which might be implying towards a unique set of chargers where instead of plugging in the device directly, you simply let it charge on a stand.

AT&T should be looking to release it sometime this year, and when it reaches the market, it might be the second 4.5-inch smartphone beside the Samsung Infuse 4G. We are still waiting for the official word and other details, so hang around to catch the tips as it comes.
