Asus Eee Pad Transformer 3G Model Gains Online Support Page

August 15, 2011, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

The Asus Eee Pad Transformer finally has a support page online. You can get details about the device there, but what is missing is the release date.

The device was rumored to reach UK stores in August, and as the month is already halfway through, we should be seeing it soon. The Asus Eee Pad Transformer 3G will   allegedly be going on sale in Europe for 499 Euros ($689 US) for the 16GB version, and for 599 Euros ($827 US) for the 32GB version.

The Transformer packs NVIDIA Tegra 2 1.0GHz dual-core CPU under the hood and we have yet to hear what version of Android will be accompanying the bundle. The Android 3.2 is a strong contender and we might see the device running the same.

It has a full QWERTY keyboard with Touchpad that could be removed if you wish to treat it as a tablet sans physical keyboard. The 10.1″ device has an LED Backlight WXGA with a 1280×800 resolution, 10-finger multi-touch support and scratch resistant glass.

Knowing the release date would be a huge relief as a lot of people are waiting for this boy. Since the support page is now officially here, it should not be long before we see the device on shelves.
