Android is not just for the men folk! That seems to be  what HTC wants to tell the world. And, they have brought forth an amazing women’s smartphone and has promised to push it to the girls out there via Verizon.

Christened HTC Bliss, the ‘women-only’ smartphone just made a visit to the FCC and has returned successfully. HTC has not announced the pricing or a release date for the Bliss, but if rumors are to be believed, the female-centric smartphone could be available by September 29th.

The Bliss, with model number PI46110, seems to be destined for a Big Red debut with CDMA 850 MHz / 1900 MHz bands. It runs on Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread, and will boast support for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on board like other smartphones in the market. It packs a 900 MHz radio as well.

A Qualcomm processor is believed to hide under the hood and it will also come with a rear-facing camera. Though details on the dimensions of the phone are not out yet, some believe that it might have a screen size of 4 inches or lower.

HTC Bliss could be strictly a mid-range or entry-level device and is designed for the 20 to 30-year old female customers. True to that aspect, it would come in softer colors, and would have a “charm” tied to it, which lights up to notify the owner of a call or a message. HTC seems to be focusing more on design than specs for this one.

Ladies, this one is for you.
