Which Famous Directors Are Lending A Hand With Call Of Duty Elite?

August 10, 2011, By Christian Davis

The Call of Duty franchise is no stranger to Hollywood top talent. Black Ops had Sam Worthington (Avatar) and Gary Oldman (The Dark Knight), Hans Zimmer composed the music for Modern Warfare 2, and Keith David (Crash) was involved with Modern Warfare 2 as well. So naturally it makes sense to keep that trend going. We’ve already gotten word that Jason Batemen and Will Arnett will be lending their talents to Call of Duty Elite but now the legendary Ridley Scott (Aliens, Blade Runner) and Tony Scott (Top Gun, Beverly Hills Cop II) are also involved with the new service.

Reported by USA Today, Hirshberg said “Just like any other passion that people spend a lot of their free time doing, Call of Duty players share a common language and a common experience and we think we can create some entertainment content that they will love and talk about and share.”

Odds are these two famous directors will….direct, some sort of short or shorts for the Call of Duty Elite service. Hopefully this Elite service is something that we all enjoy and go back to often.
