HTC Droid Incredible 2 Sports New Silver Skin

August 1, 2011, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

HTC has dipped its Droid Incredible 2 in a fresh coat of paint. We found some images of the handset dabbed in white.

The new color gives it a pretty slick  look. The Droid Incredible 2 was previously up with a black color on its back.

The face still retains the black color. It’s only the back that’s been painted for the new look.

The Incredible 2, also known as the Incredible S, is about three months old since reaching the markets. It was first unveiled at the MWC in February.

The phone’s got a healthy specifications list headed by a single-core 1GHz CPU coupled with 768MB of RAM (HTC Sense in the bundle is a given). It sports a four-inch WVGA super LCD display and an eight megapixel rear camera.

Other features include G-sensor, Compass, Proximity sensor, Light sensor, WiFi and Bluetooth. It needs to be seen whether the phone will be released with Android 2.3 Gingerbread or not.

We haven’t received any official proclamation on the Incredible 2’s launch date or the price tag it will be carrying. But since we have news of the images, the other details must be around the corner.

Hang around with us and we’ll let you know as we get them.
