Apple iPhone 5 Coming Only in October; Rumor Pushes Date Beyond September

August 1, 2011, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

Oh, the maddening rumor mongering must be keeping you engaged almost always. We are just going crazy finding new revelations brought to us by the little bird. It wasn’t much long ago that we heard that AT&T was denying vacation for employees “due to an event blackout” this September.

As it is a known fact that such decisions used to come on occasions when an iPhone was about to break out into the markets, we thought the iPhone 5 would release somewhere around the last two weeks of September. The latest grapevine murmur tells a different story.

Folks at All Things D have been told that Apple might be actually planning the launch in October. That means we may have to wait for a few more days to actually see the Apple device.

Though not many details have been revealed, the latest talk reiterates that the vacation black out may not be for an iPhone launch.  It isn’t known whether the Cupertino company has the launch ready iPhone 5 waiting for an appropriate date.

Thinking deeper into this, we may also guess that Apple might show off the device in September as already mentioned, but will roll out to markets later in October.

Let’s now follow the October possibility, though we are yet to find out what exactly the date could be.

Putting together all we hear, we need to see the iPhone 5 sporting a faster A5 processor, a Qualcomm dual mode GSM/CDMA baseband, and a higher resolution eight-megapixel rear camera.

Let September dawn and we will have a glance at the device when the wraps go  off. And then in October we may be able to buy one. You have been waiting this far, right?  September-October isn’t far away, so no worries on waiting a bit more. Gear up, folks.
