Gadget world is leaking more news than you can read at the moment. Right now doing the rounds are the board and chip of the HTC Omega.

The device is said to be running Windows Phone 7 Mango, so I guess we won’t set eyes on it until Microsoft’s update hits the air. It looks to be a successor of the HTC 7 Mozart and a couple of months back we law the leaked images of the phone’s cover.

This time we hear a lot more than just covers. The list of proposed specifications is flowing out from every crevice in the gadget world.

The Omega will supposedly pack a 1.5GHz single-core Qualcomm processor and a 3.8″ 800 x 480 SLCD display. For photography, you will supposedly get an 8-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash and support for 720p HD video recording.

The device will most probably be having 16GB of onboard storage and will be supporting Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, WiFi, an FM radio, quad-band GSM connectivity, dual-band (900, 2100) 7.2 Mbps HSDPA and 2Mbps HSUPA.

No images of the phone have been leaked and no other details regarding the price or launch date have been heard. But going by the business in tech world, it won’t be long before we see more leaks or updates of the Omega gush out.
