Nokia RM-670 Awaits FCC Approval

July 19, 2011, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

Nokia’s got a new handset all packed and ready to go. The Nokia RM-670 is reportedly in the hands of FCC.

The device previously known as the N7 or 700 Zeta could be landing Stateside on AT&T or T-Mobile. There’s also the possibility of both carriers supporting the handset along with 1,700MHz AWS and 850/1,900MHz 3G bands.

Though we have no concrete evidence of its specifications, there are several notions (which we think may be credible). The device is said to feature a 3.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen and sport a 5 Megapixel shooter.

The phone will be running on the Symbian Belle OS and will be powered by a 1GHz processor. It will also support an NFC chip for mobile payment support.

No details on the pricing are available yet. The Nokia handset should make it to the markets by the third quarter of this year.

Since the device has passed the FCC testing and is on the FCC table, it’ll only be a matter of time for gaining the approval. So we can expect to bring you the price tag and launch date soon.

Stay with us and Nokia fans keep your fingers crossed for a good device to get through.
