HTC Puccini in FCC Draws AT&T Network for Ride

We haven’t heard much about the HTC Puccini for some time, though there were rumors of it coming soon. Looks like those rumors are going to get their way.

The HTC Puccini is in the FCC cabinets now under the model name of PG09410. We were not lucky enough to get a decent picture of the slate, but we did get a label location that you see above.

There are reports of the FCC labeling the device as a potential AT&T’s LTE network passenger for both 700 and 1700MHz bands. If that’s the case, then the Puccini will be AT&T’s first LTE tablet.

The Puccini will be able to give a decent enough performance the current 3G (WCDMA bands II and V) network from AT&T. The tablet will be coming with Android 3.0.1 Honeycomb and will have a dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm processor to power.

The slate’s reported to have a 10″ display with a good enough 1,280 x 800 resolution. An interface quite like the HTC Sense on HTC smartphones is rumored to tag along with the Puccini.

Other features in the FCC filings speak of dual speakers and a lack of 3D-capable camera. But that’s pretty much that’s been let out.

Since its in FCC hands, we can expect it to be in the markets soon. So gather up some cash and wait for the Puccini boy.
