A new notebook from the house of Lenovo has been made official. The new Lenovo ThinkPad could be an ultimate choice for potential notebook buyers who have portability on their priority list.

This 11.6-inch notebook, christened Lenovo ThinkPad X121e, comes with many options under the hood. The new addition to the notebook lineup will be available with both AMD and Intel CPU inside. We should also tell you that Intel has an upper hand here as it uses SSD for storage in the high-end edition than the HDD by AMD. The SSD offers light weight, less power consumption and quick processing – but can be costlier too.

The notebook running on the AMD platform utilizes C-50 or E-350 APU with the AMD A50M chipset. On the other hand, the Intel counterpart has got the Core i3-2357M CPU at 1.3GHz with the UM67 chipset.

The AMD C-50 edition boasts 250 GB HDD on the storage front, and also comes along with the 3 cell battery and 1 GB RAM. In case you have additional demands, you can always opt for AMD E-350 as it is packs stronger 6-cell battery and 4GB of RAM with same storage capacity.

The Intel-powered basic edition will come with the 320GB HDD, 3 cell battery standard and 2GB of RAM. An advanced version of the Intel-powered notebook claims to provide a 128GB SSD, a 6-cell battery and extra memory.

All variants will come with the same 11.6-inch matte screen with resolution of 1366 x 768. Other specs of the ThinkPad X121e include WiFi, HDMI out, webcam, Bluetooth, and WiMax/3G options.

The Lenovo ThinkPad X121e will retail for a price range from €399 to €729 all over Europe. Are you getting one?
