The Apple iPhone 5 is undoubtedly the most sought after device it seems, even before the device is launched. And, that has indeed triggered rumors galore in every possible way. The latest on that front is that Taiwan-based notebook maker Pegatron Technology has received orders for 15 million iPhone 5s from Apple.

As we had earlier told you, the device is expected to start shipping in September of 2011. We get to hear that the iPhone 5 is now getting into mass production, and the September release could be possible.

Folks at DigiTimes have got word from component makers that Pegatron is going all out to make production as fast as they can. Pegatron, as you already know, makes the Verizon iPhone 4.

The fast pace would make it possible for Apple to roll out the device during September’s annual event.

Though the report seems true, Pegatron has preferred to stay silent on the whole aspect. It is a known fact that Apple’s association with Pegatron for the iPhone 4 had helped the Taiwan company to expanded operations.

With this news on Pegatron landing orders for 15 million iPhone 5 units now out in the open, it looks like we should now gear up for September to dawn. Hope all the earlier rumors on the iPhone 5 also gets real so that we get to play with awesome Apple device without much delay. Stay tuned.
