HTC Eternity Ready with a 4.7-inch Display; Packs Windows Phone 7 Mango OS

No product goes unnoticed in this world as long as there are leaks. And this time it’s the turn of HTC’s latest, Eternity. A big brother to the 4.5-inch Samsung Infuse 4G, the Eternity has a 4.7-inch Super LCD display at 480 x 800 resolution.

It’s rumored to hold under the hood a single-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm MSM8255 processor with Windows Phone 7 Mango as the operating system. Other features include an 8-megapixel camera with dual LED flash and 720p video capture ability, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, up to 16GB of internal memory, 512MB RAM, 14.4Mbps HSPA support and a 1650mAh battery.

The Eternity can’t boast about having the largest display as it is a tad smaller than Acer’s Iconia Smart, which packs a 4.8-inch screen. But HTC has smartly included a super LCD cover which should make up for the lost resolution.

We have no idea when the company plans to let it go wild or at what price. Let’s just hope it will be sooner than an eternity!
