Lets say you have the most played and most addicting Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game of all time. With around 12 million subscribers and millions of hours being invested into the game each month, how do you bring even more people to the game? Make it free to play.

That’ exactly what Blizzard is doing with their critically acclaimed World of Warcraft title also known as “WoW”. Previously WoW had a 14 day trial that let players try out the game. You can officially say that’s been extended and players who still have not got their hands on the MMO can really sink their teeth into it and discover why it’s so good, at least until level 20.

The World of Warcraft Starter Edition even includes content from the games first expansion, The Burning Crusade. Thanks to the expansion, players will be able to create Draenei and Blood Elf charcters.

If you decide to purchase the game, you’ll be able to upgrade to the Burning Crusade for $19.99. Then you’ll have to catch up and purchase the other two expansions, Wrath of the Lich King and Cataclysm to further your gameplay even more.
