T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide this July; Comes with an Amazing HDR Camera [Video]

T-Mobile’s myTouch 4G Slide  is just round the bend. As the latest myTouch device to launch with 4G capability, the company claims it to be having “the most advanced camera of any smartphone with zero shutter lag, backside illuminated sensor and additional premium digital camera features that offer consumers a viable replacement for their digital point-and-shoot cameras.”

The handset comes with an 8 megapixel camera that boasts of many added features. Its ClearShot HDR captures objects in bright settings so that your photos are not affected by high-contrast lighting. With a backside illuminated sensor and a wide aperture lens (f/2.2), the shooter has an improved low-light performance.

You can capture multiple photos in a quick burst by using the burst shot, or catch panoramic shots by sweeping across an entire scene in a single motion using the sweep shot. With the zero shutter lag, you can take an instantaneous shot for the perfect moment.

Moving on to the hardware, we find it runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread with Sense 3.0. With a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor coupled to the T-Mobile’s 4G network, you are guaranteed to a super fast web-experience.

The 4G slide comes with a 3.7-inch WVGA Super LCD touchscreen display and a slide-out full QWERTY keyboard. Its full HD 1080p camcorder with audio recording enables you to edit videos directly from the device.

The myTouch 4G Slide comes packed with entertainment fun featuring T-Mobile TV, Netflix and YouTube. Another interesting feature is the video chat powered by Qik along with Group Text powered by Bobsled. Bobsled offers an “innovative way to send and receive text messages with groups of friends”.

All those magnificent specs must have gripped you. The device comes in two hues: khaki and black – but, we are yet to know what is on the pricing front.
