Enter the new myTouch 4G Slide. Speculations about the device are doing the rounds along with leaked images. This device which is likely to be T-Mobile’s latest handset, could be a successor to the original myTouch 4G that was released last year. Even though T-Mobile refuses to comment, we have a pretty good idea of what the phone could be like.

If, like we think, the phone is a successor to the original myTouch 4G, then it could be harboring a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. We hear that the phone might come running Android Gingerbread and will sport an HTC sense interface.

From what we get to learn, the phone is very fast and this could make it a hit with gaming enthusiasts. The four-row keyboard, said to be super-fast and amazing, will be happily received.

Other features could include 768MB of RAM, an 8MP rear camera with auto focus and flash, a front camera for video chats, support for 1080p HD video recording and a 3.7-inch WVGA display.

The handset is rumored to be a tad heavy, but with the above specs, that minor flaws may be overruled.

The benefits of the myTouch 4G slide are something to reckon with and we may have to wait till T-Mobile let something slip. Going by the ongoing rumors, we think the launch date is not far off.
