Halo Anniversary Has Kinect Integration

Microsoft studio boss Phil Spencer told Gamespot that Kinect is very important to all genres of games even titles such as Halo. Now the idea of a Kinect Halo doesn’t really sound that great especially after we saw what Kinect Star Wars looks like at E3. Should we be worried?

A lot of the Xbox 360’s major titles(Mass Effect 3, Forza Motorsport 4, and Ghost Recon: Future Soldier) are going to be “better with Kinect” so you can’t help but hope for some functionality similar to those titles. Thankfully, it will be.

Halo Waypoint forum admin ‘bs angel’ had a few things to say about the Kinect features:

“Just to let everybody know, the Kinect features we’re exploring with Halo: Anniversary are optional and won’t affect your core gameplay experience. Our mission, from day one, has been to deliver a faithful recreation of the original game, and we remain dedicated to seeing that through to completion.”

As long as the core gameplay isn’t affected, we’re good! What could it be though? Menu scrolling? Interactive armor customization? Let us know what you think in the comments.
