Sony S1 and S2 Tablet Teaser Video Released; Less Info with a Mystic Ambience

June 17, 2011, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

‘I love you’ is the message that Sony wants to proclaim through their teaser video of S1 and S2 tablets. The video, which has been officially released by the company, is a treat to the eyes but fails to leave any impression in you to ponder about.

The tablets are shown for not more than 3 seconds and that too at the end of the long, moody and a rather unharmonious teaser. However, the video is just the first in a series of ads for the Sony tablet. We hope the Japanese electronics giant would provide more information in their own distinct way, in the coming ads.

From another perspective, the video has evoked tons of expectations and anticipation in the hearts of all the fans out there. The video has succeeded in conferring an enigmatic image for the tabs.

Concentrating on an ‘I love you’ tag, the video shows two white figures using a complex array of mechanism to send that all-important message from one to the other using Sony’s tablet devices.

Neither of the tablets gets much in the way of the demo but there is the regular Android Honeycomb home screen to wrap up the ‘First Impression’.

The video probably concentrates more on the underlying thought behind the concept rather than describing the machines. Just to remind you, the tablets will feature Honeycomb and Tegra 2 processors. Take a look at the video and tell us what you feel. Please leave a comment.
