Sony Ericsson’s Urushi had earlier made an appearance in the form a leak, and that was some time ago. A new leak has come about, bringing with it something to add on to available info. ST18i, the forthcoming phone from Sony Ericsson codenamed Urushi is the device we are talking about.  With the second leak coming our way, we have got a batch of photographs that reveal added details about the smartphone.

Urushi appears to be the smaller version of the Xperia Arc, based on the body make up. The device runs the same hardware as Arc – inclusive of the Snapdragon chipset with a Scorpion CPU and an Adreno 205 GPU running at 1 GHz.

Going by the images, the device features a smaller 3.2-inch screen and the display has got a resolution of 854×480 pixels. It features the proprietary Bravia Mobile engine as well.

Running Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread along with the typical customizations, the phone will also boast of an 8 megapixel with 720p recording. The LED flash has been given a miss, same as what the Xperia Arc gave us. On the storage front is 335MB of RAM.

Urushi is expected to hit stores by September, but we are not sure of the exact launch date. Though no official word has been let out on this yet, we expect the manufacturer to turn up with an announcement soon.
