E3 2011 Nintendo Press Conference Confirmed Rumors and Appearances

E3 2011 for Nintendo is probably the biggest conference out of every competitor this year. Project Cafe is making it’s first appearance and is playable at this years E3. The Nintendo 3DS isn’t selling as well as it’s predecessor and needs to reveal a lot more software for this revolutionary handheld. Nintendo’s press conference is sure to be the most surprising. Hopefully with this new console reveal Nintendo will support the hardcore gamers.

 

Nintendo’s confirmed appearances consists of some returning titles we viewed last year and of course the reveal of Project Cafe.

  • Nintendo will officially announce Project Cafe, the successor to the Wii.
  • Project Cafe’s controller will be revealed which has been more of interest than the console itself.
  • 3DS interfacing with Project Cafe.
  • Wii – Dragon Quest X
  • Wii – Legend of Zelda : Skyward Sword
  • Wii – New Kirby game
  • Zelda’s 25th anniversary

Nintendo is filled with nothing but rumors at this point. All of which are exciting.

  • 3DS – Animal Crossing
  • 3DS – Donkey Kong
  • 3DS – Kingdom Hearts
  • 3DS – Mario Kart
  • 3DS – Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater
  • 3DS – Metroid
  • 3DS – New Pokemon title
  • 3DS – Star Fox
  • 3DS – Super Mario
  • Kid Icarus: Uprising
  • Mega Man Legends 3
  • Possible ports of PS3/360 titles
  • Project Cafe – Super Smash Bros
  • The Legend Of Zelda: Four Swords
  • Wii – Pikmin 3
  • Huge price drop for Wii and 3DS bundles
  • 3DSwares announcements
  • A huge price drop for Nintendo Wii is no surprise at all especially if the rumored price for Project Cafe is around $350-$400. Last year Satoru Iwata said there were multiple publishers and developers on board for the 3DS. Hopefully we can see some title announcements from these companies:
