Who would have guessed that a brand new PC could do this much of talking? Microsoft has come up with an ultimate move, that lets students buying a new Windows 7-based PC priced at $699 or more also get an Xbox 360 4GB console for free! We aren’t kidding, it’s all true. The offer is available at retailers for current students in the US.

To avail of the offer, all that a student needs to do is provide identification as defined by the participating retailer. The participating retailers include Dell, HP and Microsoft. The offer will starting on May 22nd and will last for a limited time.

Students are free to buy any kind of PC, but the professionals do suggest a few like the HP Pavilion, a great entertainment system like the DM4, stylish and powerful Dell Inspiron or something cool like the Samsung Series 9. If you still have trouble spotting your PC, just try using the online PC scout here.

The tale, however, does not come to a pause after your Windows 7 PC purchase is over! There is lot more in store. When you flash that student identity card of yours, you end up getting an Xbox 360 4GB console for no extra cost or paper work.

When your Windows 7 PC spurs you to stay connected to your social networks, surfing the web, gaming and streaming videos, music and lots more, the Xbox 360 will be all set to double your entertainment dose.

As of now, the offer is only available in the United States. However, we hear it will be heading for France and Canada soon. Just to add, this is a limited stocks offer and so you need to be an early bird. So, better run!
