Motorola Cliq 2 Owners Wanted; 200 Users to Test First Update Before Roll Out

May 20, 2011, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

We got to admit that Motorola Cliq 2 failed to receive the kind of attention the company expected. As far as the Droid world is concerned, it’s not that great a machine too, but that doesn’t mean it’s a flawed device. As of now, Motorola is actually looking to push the handset’s first software update. However, before they move ahead and start rolling it out, they are looking to get 200 Cliq2 owners to test it out and confirm that things are as smooth as they think it is.

Complaints had earlier come stating that the 1GHz processor failed to live up to its billing, when in action. Many factors come into making the device a lot faster; and Motorola hopes their new update will resolve the firmware issues. The new update primarily consists of bug fixes, battery issues and software improvements.

The Cliq 2 is, of course, a decent mid-range messaging phone offered by T-Mobile, not to forget the recent inclusion of MotoBlur. The incorporation of MotoBlur has made the device a lot more user friendly when it comes to social networking. Let’s just see whether the update would be able to raise the phone’s status.

If any of our readers happen to be an owner of the Cliq 2 and is interested to check out the update, you may head here and do the needful. Please do keep in mind that they are looking for the first 200. So, hurry!

Also, don’t hesitate to scribble down your experience for all our readers to know.
