HP TouchPad 32GB on Walmart; Leak Reveals $599 Price Tag

We all knew HP’s TouchPad was coming our way soon. Adding to the excitement, Walmart’s new inventory  has listed HP TouchPad 32GB WiFi model for sale. As per a screenshot from Walmart’s internal computer systems, which incidentally got leaked, the device would come with a $599 price tag.

As you can see, the pricing almost matches with that of the 32GB iPad of Apple. The tablet industry is looking forward to see whether the new entry would make it big in the market.

The HP TouchPad 32GB comes with a 10.1-inch display and is expected to get to our midst by next month. However, with Walmart brining in the device, we are trying to find out when the retailer will be actually offering the device. The device would come along with the TouchPad-specific Touchstone Dock or Stand. The equipment will come for a retail price of $79.88.

The Walmart inventory also includes several other webOS stuff as well. It offers webOS Bluetooth keyboard and TouchPad case which costs $69.88 and $49.88 respectively. An AC charger of $29.88 is also offered along side. As you would notice, this comes at the same price as that of the Palm AC-to-USB adapter and micro-USB cable from HP.

We had seen earlier leaks that gave hint that HP would sell the 16GB model at a price of $499. And, now we have the inventory list  leak from Walmart, which guys at PreCentral manage to catch hold of, suggesting the possible pricing of the 32GB model.

Let’s just wait to get the device on our palms. In the meanwhile, tell us if you are planning to head for Walmart to get hold of your variant.
