Apple Event on May 19th; What’s in Store?

May 17, 2011, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

Don’t you agree Apple is a heap of mysteries and secrets, apart from being a technology major? Well, here comes the latest rumor on the next Apple product launch, as usual peppered with a lot of suspense and uncertainly. As per the latest Apple grapevine, the iPhone maker is all set to stage an event – on May 19.

The company has planned something big for the world in just another day’s time. Interestingly, it is the tenth anniversary of the opening of the first ever Apple stores. Going back to the pages of history, it was on 1991 May 19 that the first Apple stores were opened in McLean, Virginia and Glendale, California.

Well, everybody around us is busy speculating on the big show we are going to face on May 19th. Is it an iPad 3? Never! Or do they have iPhone 5 all set? But September is far away still, which was slated as the time for its release.  Mac OS X Lion is predicted as the most expected release on 19th as it was officially slated for a summer release. But Apple may have something else in their bags too.

However, things are too overt at Apple about May 19th. Staff members have got password protected instructions and are told to take extra night shifts. Apple stores have got hardware to be installed for the event, as per leaked information. They are strongly directed not leave any hint outside. So the bubble of suspense is yet to pop. What’s your guess?
