LG Revolution Press Shot Leaks; Verizon Release on May 25th

May 3, 2011, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

Well, it was meant for the press, but it  leaked before it was  meant to be revealed. We are talking about the leaked press shot of Revolution, the latest smartphone from LG. Well, it wasn’t just the image  that leaked, but the slated launch date also found its way to the tech news sphere.

As per the leaked information, LG will be unveiling the LG Revolution smartphone on May 25th. This brand new smartphone from LG in all possibilities will head for the Verizon network on the same day. One of the four devices meant for Verizon’s 4G LTE network, as displayed at the Consumer Electronics Show 2011, the device will be the second or third to get a release.

HTC Thunderbolt, the first among the four devices meant for Verizon 4G LTE network, is already out as you know. We have given you a clear picture of how Droid Charge was delayed due to the outage of the LTE network of the Big Red the other day.

So if the Samsung Droid Charge is not launched in a day or so, LG Revolution will be the second among the four to get a release soon. However, it is less likely. More chances are that this device might get a third place. Droid Bionic, the last in the team was pushed back for unknown reasons.

LG Revolution is the first Android phone to support Netflix but has a single core processor and WVGA display. Does that turn you down? Tell us in the comments space provided below.
