Samsung Droid Charge on Verizon this Tuesday; Suggests Leak

May 2, 2011, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

We have told you how the launch of Samsung Droid Charge on Verizon got delayed due to the outage of its LTE network the other day. Though we told you that the news is always disappointing for the guys who were looking for the device, we knew many of you were expecting such a delay since that is the practice with Big Red for some time now. Well, some leaks now suggest that Charge may hit the network within days.

A leaked picture from Verizon shows that the Charge will be stocked at all retail points by Monday evening. This probably points to a release on Tuesday, the 3rd of May. As you can see, the network has put forward strong suggestions not to exhibit any original pieces or demo before the launch date.

However, contradicting this report, another inventory screen shot from Costco has been leaked later, hinting that the Samsung Droid Charge will be launched on May 5th rather than on May 3rd. Though we are yet to get a word from our official Verizon sources and tipsters, with the contradicting reports, we can well assume that Droid Charge is almost completely ready for a launch on Verizon in the coming week.

Well, that is a better situation than what HTC ThunderBolt has gone through. However, the guys at Big Red still say that any change in the launch date will be intimated differently. Well, let us wait and see if the Charge will charge up the network on Tuesday itself.
