A while ago we had brought to you news on chances of the Samsung Droid Charge hitting the Verizon network this week. It is not just the Droid Charge that’s set for a debut this week. Apple has also decided to out one of its new devices around the same time. It is widely speculated that Apple will launch its new iMac on May 3rd.

The associated rumors on the specifications of the new iMac machine are worth a note. In all probability, the new Apple device is estimated to appear with a screen size larger than 27 inch. Most probably, a 30 incher screen device, it is speculated to come with the new Sandy Bridge processors, hot from the workshops of Intel.

As we trace the recent activity and marketing strategies from Apple, it is highly possible that the new iMac will come with the new technology we have witnessed on MacBook Pro  – the Thunderbolt. A collaborative initiative from Intel and Apple, Thunderbolt is a new interface which can replace a range of ports like USB and eSATA with a single port and can offer blazing pace for data transfer. It is most likely to be added to the feature list of these new machines.

The device is expected to come with a better graphics weapon than the Radeon HD 5750 and at least 2 TB of storage space. These we have concluded after a tough homework. Well, we would love hearing from you on your dream specs for the new Apple iMac machine.
