April 29, 2011, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

We have already told you much about the HTC Doubleshot a couple of days ago, if you remember. What we now have is the full specs of the forthcoming device, which has since been rechristened myTouch 4G Slide. A leaked ROM has enabled us to conclude on certain features. Analyzing the content of the leaked ROM, it seems the QWERTY slider possesses exceptional features.

The most significant aspect brought out by the leak is that the device offers support for 1080p 3D recording. This is perhaps for the first time that such a device comes featured with this. As you are aware, 3D devices now present in the scene offer only 720p 3D recording and playback. The myTouch Slide will have a 3.7-inch WVGA LCD screen with a VGA resolution.

The handset will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon MSM8660 1.2GHz Dual Core CPU. The processor comes coupled with an Adreno 220 GPU as well as 768MB RAM. Two cameras, a 3 mega pixel front-facing camera, and an 8 mega pixel rear-facing camera complete the package.

Let us also tell you, the rear camera includes support for 720p/1080p 3D recording in addition to 720p/1080p 2D recording. The presence of Codecs, meant for 3D aspect, hints at the possibility of a 3D screen.

The other features expected include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, integrated FM Receiver/Transmitter and dual microphone support for noise cancellation.

Also, it offers support for HSDPA Category 10 capable of 14.4 Mbps and HSUPA Category 6 for 5.75 Mpbs download speed. That makes it for a quiet impressive array of specs and will surely make it big on T-Mobile very soon.
