BlackBerry Curve Touch Rumored to be Coming to T-Mobile This June/July

April 21, 2011, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

T-Mobile, we hear, is gearing up to launch their own version of the BlackBerry Curve Touch soon. The timeline probably falls sometime in either June or July this year. Though we aren’t too sure as to whether this goes well with the news we have been hearing for long about the possible arrival of a touch screen Blackberry arriving on T-Mobile, we think we should see this as heralding the arrival of a bonafide T-Mobile branded Curve Touch.

So if what we hear is true, we might get to witness the launch of the device at Blackberry World getting underway in Orlando next month. If you would remember, we had told you the CDMA Curve Touch will feature a 3.25-inch 480×360 display and will run 800MHz core. It comes featuring a 5-megapixel camera that enables HD video capture.

The storage options said to have incorporated include 512MB RAM, and 1GB of flash storage. The GSM variant of Curve Touch, supposed to be landing on the carrier is also said to feature nearly identical specs. Whether the launch date is near or not, we are now at least being served with cues that indicate the existence of such a device.

We will get you more details as days go by, especially around the time BlackBerry World to be held next month. Do tell us your take on this rumored forthcoming device.
