T-Mobile has confirmed the launch details of the LG G-Slate and G2x. The devices will start shipping across the US in a matter of a few hours.
Well, the most exciting aspect about the roll out is that the first 25 buyers of a T-Mobile G2X or a G-Slate at the T-Mobile Herald Square location can win VIP tickets to a party being organized in the evening, post the G-Series launch events in New York and Los Angeles. The first 100 buyers of Sidekick 4G at the T-Mobile store located at 350. S La Cienega Blvd will be bestowed with the honor of attending the event.
The T-Mobile LG G-Slate will be the second Android 3.0 Honeycomb tablet – after the Motorola Xoom – to hit the market. This 8.9-inch tablet running a dual-core Tegra 2 processor also features a 3D camera. A pair of 3D glasses is offered along with the device. Support for Flash player out of the box is another remarkable feature of the device.
The device will be offered at a starting price of $530 after a $100 mail-in rebate with two-year service agreement. This offer is aimed at the current customers of the network. New customers could avail of the device for $630 along with a two-year service agreement.
