HTC Windows Phone 7 Smartphone with 16 Megapixel Camera in the Works! (Video)

Any clue as to which is the smartphone that comes sporting the highest resolution camera? The credit goes to camera manufacturer Altek which has rolled out a smartphone device with a 14 mega pixel camera. However, it seems that the credit will not rest with Altek for long. Certain sources have hinted that HTC is working on a smartphone device running on Windows Phone 7 platform sporting a 16 mega pixel camera.

Well, that is too much from HTC, right? HTC has so far rolled out devices with up to 8 mega pixel resolution cameras. If there is any truth in the rumor, the new device will have double the power of the highest resolution device from HTC now. To make the rumor more concrete, we have a got a video which you can play (posted below).

The model you spot in the video resembles the recently released Android-based Desire S. However, the buttons differ very much. So far what we know about the device is that it sports the highest resolution camera and has dual LED flashes for assistance.

No clue as yet as to what the innards of the device would hold. Since it has such a big camera, we hope it will have a powerful processor too and hopefully more storage to handle the bigger and high quality pictures it snaps. Watch out, for this is coming your way soon.
