There isn’t any doubt that all you gadget freaks out there are constantly waiting for an upgrade in technology with regard to the devices you own. That, in fact, is the story of the tech-savvy creed.

Now listen to this. We also got a friend out there in the seat of power who is waiting for an upgrade to the phones in his office. Yes, we are talking about the one and only Barack Obama, the President of the United States!

Making an off-the-cuff remark about the telecommunication technology and devices being used in his Oval Office at the White House, Obama let out his frustration over the out-dated or rather glitter-less technology being deployed.

We can’t help but wonder, why so, after all it’s the President of the most powerful nation of the world! Right?

It was while talking to the donors in Chicago that the US President commented about the need to innovate the technology in his office.

The Oval Office, I always thought I was going to have really cool phones and stuff,” he said during a small fundraising event at a Chicago restaurant. “I’m like, c’mon guys, I’m the president of the United States. Where’s the fancy buttons and stuff and the big screen comes up? It doesn’t happen.

President Obama was actually responding to a question about the bottlenecks in the technological innovations. To put it across easily, he used his Oval office experience as an example.

Expecting a Gingerbread update, the iPhone 5 launch or a leaked roadmap from Verizon, Obama is definitely longing for some better technology for his office.

What do you suggest?
