Apple’s White iPhone 4 Spotted in Verizon Inventory

April 16, 2011, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

All those grapevine talk seem to be heading for an exciting culmination. We have been hearing loads on the white iPhone 4 of late. The last we heard was that Apple will begin selling a white version of the iPhone 4 in the next few weeks. Now, as if adding to the excitement, we have spotted the device in Verizon’s inventory list.

Some time ago, Phil Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of worldwide product marketing had tweeted the impending arrival of the device in Spring. With some clear snapshots of Verizon’s inventory list now out in the open, we are pretty sure that Verizon is now all set to launch both 16 GB and 32 GB white iPhone 4 models and that they could launch in a few days.

As you can see, the pictures alongside unveil a list of Apple products in Verizon’s inventory. Though nowhere in the leak does it mention that the arriving model is a white iPhone 4, we can easily conclude it as we have before us the numbering system followed by Apple for long.

The white iPhone 4 is MC679 and the black model, as we already know, is MC678. The fact is obviously visible in the case of black and white models of iPad 2, where the black is MC 763 and the white MC 764.

All these indicate that rumors that the white iPhone 4 will appear in a few days are turning true. May be we should expect a late April launch. What do you feel?
