It seemed premature, but it indeed heralded the arrival of the HTC Sensation on Vodafone. An early appearance on the Vodafone UK product page spoke of that HTC device’s impending arrival. The device has now arrived in the UK, much to the excitement of HTC fans. The handset, previously known as the Pyramid, runs Android Gingerbread and is equipped with the latest version of HTC Sense.

It comes featured with a 4.3-inch qHD 540 x 960 S-LCD touchscreen, the processing is done by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor; the storage front has got 4GB of internal flash memory and extra 8GB supplied on the memory card. There is also an 8-megapixel camera has been featured on the rear part. It is coupled with a dual-LED flash.

The camera supports face recognition and geo-tagging. As per the details provided by Vodafone, there’s front-facing camera equipped on the device and it is of 1.3-megapixels.

Well, we have also come to know that the device is capable of downloading movies and TV shows. If that is true, it suggests that the HTC Watch app, which launched alongside the HTC Flyer, will be featured on the device. The feature allows purchases and rentals of digital content direct to the device and this would be its debut on a smartphone.
