After so many speculations, leaked photographs as well as leaked roadmaps, here’s  confirmation that the HTC Droid Incredible 2 is of course coming to Verizon. The device is now featured on Verizon’s internal system, as you can see from the picture posted alongside.

If you haven’t yet been treated to the prominent specs that the device would carry along with it, let us tell you the device will boast of dual cameras  –  a new 1.3MP front-facing camera  and an 8 mega pixel camera placed on the rear.

Dubbed a world phone – which means support for GSM and CDMA radios – the device will also come equipped with a pre-installed 16GB microSD card. It supports DLNA media sharing as well.

The handset is also said to incorporate the New Sync & Connect feature. Well, we are not sure whether it is an HTC or Verizon customization. The feature will enable multiple e-mails and address books in one place. The service will be active on April 12 and will come to the device the moment the handset launches.

Additionally, it will feature the mobile hotspot functionality. The carrier is yet to make the official announcement regarding this, though.

We expect the release to happen soon. Sometime ago, it was  said that the HTC Droid Incredible 2 might come on the 21st of this month. If that is right, Verizon will definitely make the announcement a few days prior to that date. Stay tuned, we will bring you more updates in a while.
