Motorola Wants 1000 Bravo Owners to Test Froyo Update Prior to Release

April 9, 2011, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

Well, here is an opportunity for all you Moto fans to try out something exciting. If you are one of those many out there who own a Bravo handset, Motorola wants you to test the next software update before its release. The testing is aimed at making sure there are no unexpected bugs.

The much-sought after Froyo  update for Bravo has been delayed, but now it seems that Moto wants to get things on a fast lane. They have called upon some 1000 Bravo owners who are willing to volunteer to test the new Android 2.2 Froyo update meant for the device.

Actually, the only qualification you need to have is to own a Bravo. So if you are one, you just need to fill in the registration space the company has made public. If you want to register, you will first have to be a member of the Motorola Owners Forums. But then, that is no big task. If you are interested in being one among the first guys who will get your hands on the Froyo update before others, you can fill in your registration and head there. The forum membership can be had here and then the registration form can be filled in here.

At the time of writing this report, Motorola got almost 500 guys making half of their load in. So if you want to be a part of this testing community, use this short registration form.  Go for it, fast.
