L.A. Noire’s Third Trailer Shows the Corruption in the World

April 7, 2011, By Christian Davis

In Rockstar’s upcoming detective game, L.A. Noire,  you’ll play as Detective Phelps. An eager cop who’s working his way up through the ranks of the Los Angles Police Department. In L.A. Noire you don’t start off as the top dog. You have to earn it.

When Phelps finally gets his job at the Vice Desk, he stumbles upon illegal gambling, cops that he works with are corrupted by greed and drugs, and uncovers that junkies are dying from government issued morphine that’s even causing problems for the city’s most notorious mobsters.

L.A. Noire is going to be an entertaining, gritty, crime solving masterpiece of  a game and looks just like some of today’s big budget movies. The trailer contains all in game footage and some of the best voice acting and facial animations we’ve seen in a long time.

L.A Noire is set to release on May 17th on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. What do you guys think of the trailer? Is L.A. Noire Rockstar’s next big hit? Let us know in the comments below.
