Hope you remember, you had earlier been told that the HTC Evo View 4G tablet will be an Android 2.3 -powered device. It’s time to think again. The new list of products now displayed on Sprint’s website shows that the tablet will be running Android 3.0 Honeycomb.
As we all know, Android 2.3 is that kind of version which is not really optimized for tablets. We know you were a bit disappointed when you were earlier told that the tablet would be carrying this version – as it was announced at CTIA earlier this year.
Evo View 4G, the sibling of HTC Flyer, but with 4G bands add-on don’t have an area to hold the Scribe stylus but has a dedicated Pen button that enables to open up a note-taking application in just one hit.
Though no official word on the change in OS version has been made public as yet, we assume that the manufacturer actually has listened to customer feedback and understood the general resentment. This, it seems, has led to the change in the Android version.
Accommodating the Honeycomb will definitely add to the remarkable specs of the tablet, where running the Android 2.3 has been its only known drawback. We really wish the news to be true. Follow this link to go to the Sprint page.
