Halo Film “Operation Chastity” is set to Release This Summer[UPDATE]

April 4, 2011, By Christian Davis

UPDATE(1:45 am): We’ve gotten word that the trailer is being released this summer. Not the full film.

Directors Note: “Once the teaser has been released we will be looking at completing the main feature. It has yet to be filmed – we filmed the teaser as a means of garnering support for our feature.”

Almost instantaneously after I wrote about the Halo: Faith fan film that is being made, I received an email afterwards about another Halo film that has been in development for a couple years now. The film is called Operation Chastity and looks fantastic.

The film has been in production since 2009 and is going to be ready for all of us to see this summer.  The team behind Operation Chastity even built their own Warthog for the film. Pretty sweet.

From what I can tell from their newly added images, the film follows a team of marines that are fighting through the war. There aren’t any imgaes of a spartan or covenant on their Facebook page, but there are several finely crafted covenant and brute weapons on their website. If the covenant look anywhere as good as their weapons do, then we’re all in for a great film.

For more information on Operation Chastity and the team head over to their Facebook Page, OperationChastity.com, and follow them on Twitter.

Here are a couple of images of the marines, their Warthog, and some nice concept art below. Head over to their website and Facebook for even more pictures.
