HTC Desire S on Vodafone UK this April 8th; Comes Free of Cost for a £30 Plan

HTC has finally decided to pass on the Desire S smartphone experience to customers in the UK. To arrive on the Vodafone network on April 8th, the device is now available for pre-order. The most exciting aspect about this piece of information is that the carrier is offering the device absolutely free of cost.

But to own the phone, you will have to subscribe to any of the data plans offered by Vodafone – the cheapest being a £30 per month plan. As per this, you get 600 minutes with unlimited texting and will be offered for 24 full months along with  500 MB of data usage.

If you are not interested in clinching this exclusive online offer, there is another which asks for only £25. But with this, HTC Desire S is not offered for free, but for a price of £99.

Vodafone offers this 3.7 inch Android phone from HTC for three more plans in which you get the phone for free. Among these 24-month-long offers, £35 plan brings you 900 minutes and 750 MB data usage. The £45  offer is similar, but 300 minutes more than the one for £35.

Last, but not least, the £55 per month plan offers 3000 minutes, 1 GB data usage and unlimited texting.  The last three offer up to 25 MB data usage a day in select European markets.

Considering that this handset is a Gingerbread device that will sport a 1GHz Snapdragon processor under the hood, we see no reason for not going for it. Features include a 5 megapixel camera and video calling facility.

What are you waiting for? We are already on the website and are about to pre-order the device. You can follow the link here and place your order.
