T-Mobile Sidekick 4G from Samsung priced at $99.99 on a two-year contract

We finally have the pricing on another 4G mobile and this one is coming out from T-Mobile and Samsung. The Sidekick 4G from Samsung will be available on T-Mobile on a contract price of $99.99 and that will be only for those who are willing to sign on the dotted line with T-Mobile for a couple of years. Not just that, but to avail the $50 mall-in-rebate, you will have to opt for the unlimited data plan and anything less will see you part with $149.99!

Obviously for those willing to go with an unlimited plan on T-Mobile, the $99.99 does look like a pretty good price tag for a 4G handset. But do not confuse and compare it with the likes of HTC Thunderbolt 4G or Epic 4G or Evo as this is not really in the exact same bracket of high-end smartphones.

This is definitely no Thunderbolt, but those looking for a Sidekick specifically will no doubt be happy with the price tag and should be more than willing to shell out $99.99 for it. Others may not be all too keen on next-gen Sidekick and considering this will be out with Android 2.2 and is on Samsung, we are sure at some point an Android update hassle is sure to come up in the future.

Personally speaking, we are not too keen on the bronze keyboard look, but maybe you are satisfied with what the Sidekick 4G offers at that price. So, waiting for Samsung Sidekick 4G on T-Mobile?
