5 Million Pounds iPad 2 by Stuart Hughes

March 21, 2011, By Alex Ion

The exclusive design studio Stuart Hughes of Liverpool has done it again. The guys have just finished work on what they call the “undoubtably world’s most unique gadget” — the Gold History Edition of the iPad 2.

If you thought that the usual diamonds or other sparkling gems, and 24ct gold will do, you’re wrong. The exquisite masterpiece has a front frame made from a 75 million years old Ammolite rock — whereas Ammolite is arguably the rarest gemstone on earth.

Adding to its uniqueness and awesomeness, sections of a 65 million year old T-REX Dinosaur’s thigh bone were splintered and then shaved into the Ammolite.

A single cut 8.5ct flawless diamond inlaid in its own platinum surround with 12 outer flawless diamonds, completes the device into a magnificent combination.

The iPad 2 Gold History Edition from Stuart Hughes is encrusted with 12.5 cts of ‘I’F’ Flawless diamonds, a magnificent total of 53 individually set sparkling gems dwell beautifully in solid 24ct Apple logo with rear section formed again in 24ct gold weighing an immense 2,000 grams.

It costs a mere £5,000,000 British Pounds and only a limited edition of  two units will ever be made.

Let’s see the sheikhs fight for this one 🙂
